Three women killed in DV-related incidents in NSW in 24 hours

Three women have been killed in domestic violence-related incidents in New South Wales within a 24-hour period. On Saturday evening, a 90-year-old woman was fatally stabbed at her home in Bondi Beach, Sydney. Despite paramedics attempting to save her, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene. A 47-year-old man, known to the victim, has been arrested and charged with domestic violence-related murder.

He was refused bail and is scheduled to appear in court the following day. Later that evening, a 70-year-old woman was found dead in Mole River, NSW's Northern Tablelands region. A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene and subsequently arrested again for a separate incident involving a 23-year-old woman. Police allege that the 23-year-old and 31-year-old man had a domestic relationship.

A 31-year-old man has also been charged with the fatal stabbing of a 23-year-old woman in Wagga Wagga.
