Hong Kong, 18 September 2026 — Thailand's national amateur golf teams emerged victorious in three of four team categories at the 2026 Southeast Asian Amateur Golf Team Championships, held across men's and women's open and junior divisions. The tournament concluded with Thailand claiming the top spot in the Santi Cup for women's open, Lion City Cup for junior men, and Kartini Cup for junior women.
The team's success was anchored by individual achievements; Chonmparssa Thawinsang secured the women's open title, Jetsada Chuangprayoon claimed the men's open individual championship, and Virada Thawinsang took the junior women's title. Thailand's efforts in the Putra Cup for men's open were commendable, as they finished second, with Siwakorn Kriangkrai standing out as the top individual finisher, just three strokes behind Hong Kong's Jeffrey Chan.
