Texas high school football: Friday's scores from Week 4

Friday's scores were tallied in Houston-area and statewide high school football games during Week 4 of the season. The Bay Area Christian team emerged victorious against SA Holy Cross with a score of 56-19, while Brazosport edged out Sunnyside in a close match, 72-7. Cypress Second Baptist UM triumphed over Cypress with a score of 76-53, and Divine Savior Academy defeated El Campo by a margin of 62-7.

Katy High School beat Jordan 56-10, and Port Arthur Memorial claimed a narrow win over Galveston Ball, 55-7. St. Thomas High School and SA Central Catholic shared a lopsided 56-0 victory. Ackerly Sands and Garden City ended their game in favor of Aledo 69-0, and Aquilla defeated Kopperl 60-6.

Bellville Faith edged North Second Baptist UM 60-12, and Bloomington suffered a loss to Karnes City 34-0. Booker defeated Follett 61-14, and Bruceville-Eddy 48-6 over Hubbard. CC Coastal Christian defeated Jubilee Lake View with a score of 23-20, while CC Moody and Falfurrias shared a 0-0 draw.

Claude 64-0 defeated Groom, and Cooper 35-28 over Edgewood. Cross Plains defeated Baird in a forfeit, 48-6, while De Kalb lost 44-26 to Idabel, Okla. Dimmitt and Morton shared a 48-8 win, while EP Eastwood and EP Americas finished 64-13.

Ennis edged Arlington Seguin 42-20, and FW Arlington Heights claimed a 63-0 victory against FW Polytechnic. FW Brewer defeated FW South Hills 45-7, and FW Southwest Christian beat West 49-14. Friona triumphed over Sanford-Fritch 53-12, and Grace defeated Valor North Austin 54-0.

Happy 57-12 defeated Wildorado, and Hermleigh 50-0 lost to Nazareth. Hewitt Midway 21-10 beat Belton, and Jayton 47-0 suffered a loss to West Plains. Joshua Johnson County 41-30 defeated Blum, and Kemp 50-12 lost to Dallas A+ Academy.
