Week 5 of the 2026 Western North Carolina high school football season concluded with a variety of scores. In a notable matchup, Asheboro defeated Eastern Randolph with a final score of 7-0. Carson dominated Salisbury with a 28-6 victory. Davie County edged out North Davidson 23-17, while Dudley outscored Ragsdale 28-13. East Bladen impressed with a 30-14 win over West Columbus.

Manteo edged out Catholic 14-3. Morehead narrowly lost to Mt Pleasant 19-6. Mt Tabor defeated West Davidson 42-7. Northwest Guilford had a tough loss to Northwest Cabarrus 33-0. South Rowan narrowly beat Northwood 28-21. Parkland edged out North Surry 18-14. Atkins narrowly defeated Providence Grove 6-45. Jordan-Matthews narrowly lost to Pungo Christian 58-6.

Columbia narrowly lost to Robinson 35-14. East Rowan declined to play Smoky Mountain 41-0. East Henderson declined to play South Point 38-0. Ashbrook narrowly beat T.C. Roberson 27-64. South Caldwell narrowly beat Tarboro 50-7. Northampton County declined to play Trinity 35-0. Surry Central narrowly beat Triton 37-28. Lee County narrowly defeated Union Pines 34-35.

West Johnston declined to play Walkertown 20-0. Reidsville narrowly lost to West Forsyth 27-18. Richmond narrowly lost to West Davidson 30-8. Southwest 15 had a tough defeat against A.C. Reynolds 7:30 p.m.
