Pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside Ed Sheeran's concert at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday night. This was Sheeran's first concert since rapper Macklemore was dropped from his Loop Tour following onstage remarks in support of Palestine.
According to Variety, Jodi Rhoden, an organizer at Writers Against the War in Gaza, was among the attendees. The protesters were quoted as saying 'It's Not Going to Stop Until Palestine is Free'.
The incident involving Macklemore led to three other supporting acts, Aaron Rowe, Beoga, and Finneas, announcing they would leave the tour. Sheeran had stated that the promoter, not he, made the decision to drop Macklemore.
