Presidential aide slams Atiku for calling Tinubu ‘Bola’

Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, has harshly rebuked former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar for repeatedly calling the President by his first name, "Bola". Dare described Atiku's actions as "the height of insolence" and "political hubris". Atiku made the remarks during a press conference in Abuja on Friday, urging Tinubu to support his proposal for government intervention to lower petrol prices.

Dare criticized Atiku's approach, stating that it was an attempt to lecture the sitting president on fiscal management and gain electoral advantage. He defended the Tinubu administration's economic policies, emphasizing that the President was working to restructure the economy and reduce the burden on Nigerians. Dare's comments follow those of Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, who also criticized Atiku for his disrespectful reference to Tinubu.
