Mustaffa Che Man, a 60-year-old fisherman, said the new hall brings renewed hope and comfort for daily operations, while Mohd Fazli Baba, 43, emphasized how the GPS devices will prevent getting lost at sea during bad weather.
Earlier this year, Rauf visited the disrepair site of the old 40-year-old facility and convened a meeting with fishermen representatives and government agencies to expedite the construction of the new hall.
