Muhyiddin setuju Bersatu tak boleh gerak solo pada PRU16

Muhyiddin Yassin, President of Bersatu, has agreed that his party cannot move independently during the 16th General Election (PRU16), according to a statement at the 10th Bersatu Anniversary Event in Petaling Jaya. The party will make a decision to ensure its survival, while guaranteeing members that they must base their decisions on the principles of struggle, respecting the struggle of Bersatu, valuing its contributions, and having a shared struggle principle and vision.

Bersatu needs to honor the struggle of the party and recognize the support it has received, and have a struggle principle and aspirations that align. Muhyiddin emphasized that the core principle of Bersatu that must be accepted by partners is to create a progressive, contented, and kleptocracy-free nation. He stated that Bersatu has already held initial discussions with Muda to initiate electoral cooperation, and Putra has also indicated his willingness to cooperate in principle.

The crisis within PN has led to PAS not supporting Bersatu's campaign in the PRN Johor election, while in Negeri Sembilan, Bersatu contested using its own logo despite PN's collaboration with the Barisan Nasional (BN). In both PRN elections, Bersatu lost all contested seats.
