Lollipop Chainsaw Live-Action Movie Revealed by Dragami Games

A live-action adaptation of the popular game Lollipop Chainsaw is in development, according to developer Dragami Games. The film will be set before the events of the original 2009 game, focusing on Juliet Starling's fight against a zombie outbreak at her school. The R-rated action comedy will be directed by an international team of creatives, including Nada Holdings, Joe Teng, Robert Franke, Takafumi Yuki, Kirk Shaw, and Patricio Rabuffetti.

While the film aims to honor the spirit of the game, it will also introduce new elements to appeal to both fans of the original and newcomers to the franchise. Dragami president Shohei Sato expressed excitement about the project, stating that they are working with a passionate team to create something fresh while staying true to the essence of Lollipop Chainsaw.
