Kelsey Mitchell scores 33 points to set WNBA season mark as Fever beat Tempo 103-85

Kelsey Mitchell set a new WNBA season scoring record with 33 points against the Toronto Tempo. Caitlin Clark contributed 28 points and 14 assists, matching her season high. The Indiana Fever won 103-85, marking their eighth win in 10 games. Mitchell's 33-point performance surpassed A’ja Wilson's 1,021 points scored by Las Vegas last season.

Mitchell has now scored 1,034 points this season and is on a 25-game scoring streak, the longest in WNBA history. Clark also recorded 14 assists and made 12 consecutive free throws without a miss. Both teams returned to action after a three-week World Cup break. Toronto's Laura Juskaite and Kiki Rice added 22 and 18 points, respectively.

Isabelle Harrison and Temi Fagbenle scored 16 each for the Tempo, but they lost their fifth straight game. The Tempo began their inaugural season 9-9 but have struggled since, going 2-21. Guard Marina Mabrey missed the game due to a right adductor injury, leaving the team without her presence. Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley attended the contest.
