Inter fight back again to snatch draw at leaders Roma

Defending champions Inter Milan fought back from 2-0 down for the third time this season to secure a dramatic draw against Serie A leaders Roma. In a thrilling top-of-the-table match, Manu Kone opened the scoring for Inter in the sixth minute, later adding a second goal in the 37th minute. Lautaro Martinez equalised for Inter within 30 seconds of the second-half restart, and added a second goal in the 79th minute.

Although Inter appeared more likely to find a winner, both teams held firm to secure the points and maintain their unbeaten starts to the season after five league games. Inter conceded just their second goal of the season after half-time, when Martinez saved a potential third Roma goal with a head. The result sees Inter second on goal difference, while Roma remain in the top spot after only winning two of their last 18 meetings against Inter.
