‘He’s always with us’- Cardoso dedicates Al‑Ahli win to Jayden Adams

Jayden had tragically passed away over two months prior, following his participation in South Africa's World Cup campaign. The match, held at Loftus Versfeld, saw Nunto Santos score twice as Sundowns secured the FIFA African-Asian Pacific Cup and moved on to the next round.

Cardoso, reflecting on his former teammate's impact, stated, "He's always with us and he's always with me." He also praised Khuliso Mudau, who is recovering from a serious Achilles injury, for his contributions to the team. Cardoso reiterated the importance of unity among his players, urging them to respect the game and their opponents.
