Hasan Piker hits back at Brandon Gill’s ‘birth tourism’ attack: ‘Your wife is indian’
Hasan Piker answered Brandon Gill’s birth tourism attack by pointing to Gill’s wife and her Indian family background.
On September 18, 2026, US Rep. Brandon Gill criticized Hasan Piker for his Turkish background, calling him the "poster child" for ending birth tourism. The criticism stemmed from Piker's Axios interview, where he stated that the US had caused more deaths through terrorism than al-Qaeda. In response, Piker posted a four-word reply on X: "your wife is indian." This reference was to Danielle D’Souza Gill, Brandon Gill's wife and the daughter of conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza, born in Mumbai.
