TIKL, alongside eight other technical secondary schools nationwide, has been rebranded as Technical Fully Residential Schools (SBP-T). The other eight SBP-T schools are located in Kedah, Penang, Negri Sembilan, Melaka, Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, and Sarawak. In addition to her remarks, Fadhlina announced a contribution of RM150,000 to support TIKL's maintenance and launched a specially produced coffee-table book to commemorate TIKL's 100th anniversary.
