Davis Alexander leads Montreal Alouettes to 37-25 road win over Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Montreal Alouettes secured a 37-25 victory over Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the annual Hall of Fame game on Friday night. Quarterback Davis Alexander orchestrated the win with two touchdown passes. Stevie Scott contributed significantly with 108 rushing yards. Alexander's 21-of-27 passing performance yielded 218 yards, while Tyler Snead's knee sprain curtailed his playing time.

Hamilton, coming off a bye week, suffered their fourth consecutive loss. They committed six turnovers, including four interceptions and a fumble, which contributed to their defeat. Alexander has maintained his winning streak with five consecutive conference victories and now boasts a 15-0 record in East Division matchups. Hamilton's Harrison Frost completed 33-of-50 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns but couldn't secure a win as the Ticats fell to 1-5 within the East Division, remaining third in the standings.

The Canadian Football Hall of Fame's 2026 class was honored at halftime, including former players Brandon Banks, Sean Millington, Charleston Hughes, Calvin Tiggle, and Jim Evenson, as well as builder Frank (Pop) Ivy.
