BJP trying to intimidate marginalised groups by coercive tactics, alleges Akhilesh

The Samajwadi Party (SP) president, Akhilesh Yadav, has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of using coercive tactics against marginalized groups in Uttar Pradesh. This allegation came after a vehicle belonging to SP MP Laxmikant Nishad was damaged during a stone-pelting incident during a Ganesh idol immersion procession in Sant Kabir Nagar district.

Yadav claimed that the BJP and its government are attempting to intimidate the PDA, Dalits, and minorities through force. With the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Yadav accused the BJP of resorting to coercive tactics instead of democratic ones, stating that their negative politics will no longer be effective. The SP MP was recently evacuated by police after a mob allegedly surrounded his vehicle and smashed its window.

The police have registered a case in this matter. Yadav also criticized the BJP for its involvement in the Ram Temple donation theft case and attacks on the revered Shankaracharya, saying that these actions have turned the sanatan society against the party and ended its communal politics. The SP president emphasized the party's commitment to creating a "brotherly nation" based on social justice, equality, and the well-being of the weak, exploited, and oppressed in society.
