Before Stardom With…Presh Chuks

Presh Chuks holds a Diploma in Theology, a certificate in Scriptwriting, and has completed a National Diploma in Performance and Media Art. His passion for acting emerged from marketing faith-based movies in Aba, which introduced him to filmmaking and storytelling. His career transitioned into mainstream Nollywood after he relocated to Lagos, where he built a versatile skill set and reputation.

Initial challenges included family skepticism, lack of industry mentorship, and funding difficulties. Despite these obstacles, Chuks persevered by staying consistent, continually learning, and expanding his brand beyond acting to include various filmmaking roles. Some of his notable projects include Wrong Decision, Nelo, Her Sister’s Choice, Dabbie’s Saloon, and Answer the Call.

Currently, Chuks is involved in three major acting projects and 15 films in various capacities, with several set for release throughout the year.
