Before Stardom With…Presh Chuks

Presh Chuks shares his educational journey, which included a Diploma in Theology, a certificate in Scriptwriting, and a National Diploma in Performance and Media Art. He discovered his acting talent through marketing faith-based movies in Aba, Abia State and later transitioned into acting in faith-based films before moving into mainstream Nollywood.

Chuks relocated to Lagos, seeing it as a pivotal step for his career. Initially, he faced challenges from his family, who did not initially support his film career, as well as navigating the industry without a mentor or guild, securing funding, and finding the right opportunities. To overcome these, he remained consistent, kept learning, built a brand, and developed a versatile skill set.

Notable films that boosted his popularity include Wrong Decision and others like Nelo, Her Sister’s Choice, Dabbie’s Saloon, and Answer the Call. Currently, he is working on three major projects and has about 15 films attached to his name.
