For the UAE market, traditional Finnish-style cabins are generally the most suitable option.

Cost and convenience are significant considerations when purchasing a sauna, with factors such as delivery access, electrical requirements, positioning, ventilation, and surrounding environment being crucial. Renting a sauna may be a preferable option for those uncertain about integrating it into their routine. Health benefits of sauna bathing include improved vascular function, reduced arterial stiffness, and modest reductions in blood pressure.

However, individuals with low blood pressure or pre-existing medical conditions should consult their doctor before using a sauna. For healthy adults, a short session of 10-20 minutes a few times a week is recommended, emphasizing consistency and monitoring individual responses. The cost of an at-home sauna varies, with infrared saunas typically ranging from Dh20,000 to Dh30,000 for bespoke builds, while off-the-shelf options start at Dh22,500 for outdoor cabins and Dh24,500 for indoor cabins.
