Your feud has no impact on Igbos, presidential election – Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer to Soludo, Peter Obi

Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, has urged NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo to cease their ongoing feud. Ejimakor argued that the dispute between Obi and Soludo is detrimental to both individuals and the Igbo community as a whole, and would have no impact on the outcome of the 2027 presidential election.

The conflict arose after Obi claimed Anambra State was debt-free at the end of his tenure, while Soludo's administration revealed significant debts, including N22 billion in unpaid gratuity arrears to retired government employees and teachers. Dr. Law Mefor, the Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Value Reorientation, confirmed Soludo's administration's efforts to clear these debts.

Ejimakor emphasized that the feud distracts both candidates from their respective campaigns and governance responsibilities. He stressed that the Igbos supporting either party should also desist from involvement in the dispute, as it holds no political merit and will not influence the election's result.
