Qatar Airways wins 4 Skytrax awards

Qatar Airways has been honored with four Skytrax awards at the 2026 World Airline Awards, as well as maintaining its prestigious 5-Star Airline rating. The four awards include the World’s Best Business Class, the eighth consecutive win in this category; Best Airline in the Middle East, now the 14th time receiving this accolade; World’s Best Business Class Lounge, the airline's eighth win in this category; and World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi, marking the first-ever award for this innovation.

The awards underscore Qatar Airways' dedication to providing exceptional passenger experiences, top-tier service, seamless onboard connectivity, and operational excellence across its international network, according to a press release from the airline. Hamad al-Khater, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, expressed gratitude for the recognition, attributing it to the 60,000 employees who consistently deliver outstanding service daily.

The carrier's achievements come as it expands its operations within the Middle East this winter season, with daily flights increasing by 14 percent. These recent honors further solidify Qatar Airways' reputation as a global benchmark for excellence in aviation, achieved through the commitment of its teams and the enduring trust and loyalty of passengers across the world.
