For nearly two and a half decades, Mrs. Olive Dovlo has depended on Lashibi Funeral Homes and Crematorium whenever her family experienced loss. Her affinity for Lashibi originated from her uncle’s passing, a service that left her with confidence in returning with her mother's death and subsequent loss of other relatives. She has also encouraged friends and other families to utilize Lashibi’s services.

"I've dealt with Lashibi for many years, from the time they started. I've taken several of my relatives there and recommended them to other people," she states.

Mrs. Dovlo's trust in Lashibi was solidified after her uncle's passing when they responded well to her call for help. The care provided during the service reinforced her decision to continue using their services. When her cousin passed away about a year ago, the body had initially been taken to another facility; however, Mrs. Dovlo preferred Lashibi's involvement.

"I told the family, ‘I don’t deal with other mortuaries. I only deal with Lashibi.’ I called them, and they immediately picked up the body and brought it straight to Lashibi. It was stress-free." This ease of process relieved her nephews and nieces of the burden of coordinating multiple service providers and managing arrangements themselves.

Punctuality has been a consistent aspect of Mrs. Dovlo's experience. "Once you give them the date and time, they see to it that everything is on track," she explains. "Whether it is a pick-up or another service, they are always punctual." Over time, members of the Lashibi team have become well-known and trusted. Mrs. Dovlo remembers undertaker Elliot, Operations Lead Mr. Otu, and the reception staff, including Gina.

"Gina is very good. Mr. Otu knows she is my favourite, so whenever I have something to do, he assures me Gina will handle it effortlessly." Mrs. Dovlo also appreciates the friendly reception team, the upkeep of the cemetery, and the convenience of locating all funeral services in one place, including caskets, the Chapel, and reception facilities.

"They have it all, and I am elated with all the services provided. The cemetery is well kept, and the staff are receptive." She values the ability to visit the cemetery to pay respects to her relatives. With ample notice, family members can utilize designated sitting areas to remember their loved ones. As Lashibi Funeral Homes and Crematorium commemorate its 25th anniversary, Mrs. Dovlo’s message reflects the loyalty built over nearly a quarter of a century. "Keep it up.
