NASCAR points standings: Truck Series points update after Bristol race

Layne Riggs maintained his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points lead after the UNOH 250 at Bristol, the opening race of the Chase. Despite winning both stages, Riggs had to pit under green for a loose wheel in the final 100 laps, costing him two laps and track position. He finished the race in 32nd place, ceding the top seed position in the Truck Series Chase to Kaden Honeycutt.

Honeycutt narrowed the deficit to three points with an 8th-place finish. The top five at Bristol comprised non-Chase drivers. After one of the seven Chase races, Layne Riggs leads with 2,125 points. Kaden Honeycutt trails at 2,122 points, 3 points behind. Chandler Smith follows with 2,095 points, 30 points behind Honeycutt. Ty Majeski is next with 2,090 points, 35 points behind Smith. Gio Ruggiero ranks fifth with 2,086 points, 39 points behind Majeski.

Grant Enfinger occupies sixth place with 2,072 points, 53 points behind Ruggiero. Daniel Hemric is seventh with 2,069 points, 56 points behind Enfinger. Christian Eckes holds eighth position with 2,067 points, 58 points behind Eckes. Ben Rhodes is ninth with 2,064 points, 61 points behind Rhodes. Tyler Ankrum rounds out the top ten with 2,054 points, 71 points behind Ankrum.
