As mooncake season arrives, celebrities are not just enjoying these festive treats but also selling them. Local bakeries The Lims' Kitchen and Atelier 27 by Tay Ying and Wu Sihan are among those offering unique mooncake creations.

The Lims' Kitchen has introduced their most diverse mooncake collection yet, featuring Moonlight Mooncake Croissants, Moonflower Momoyama Mooncakes, and Moonstone Teochew Mooncakes. The croissant-shaped Moonlight Mooncake Croissants, priced at $50 for six, are a return for a second year, offering six flavors from Salted Egg Yolk to Black Sesame.

For a more elegant experience, the Moonflower Momoyama Mooncakes, at $55 for six, are cooled and come in Passover, Raspberry, Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut Chocolate, Pistachio, and Yuzu flavors.

Meanwhile, Tay Ying and Wu Sihan's Atelier 27 has introduced a cooler version of mooncakes with their Petit Lune collection. These gelato-infused mooncakes, priced at $72 per set, come with four flavors: Chocolate Passionfruit with Feuilletine, Strawberry Pepper Ganache with Pop Rocks, Kaya Toast with Coffee Shortbread, and Oolong Mango Shortbread.

They also have a theatrical touch with a compartment for dry ice that releases mist when opened. Wu Sihan's favorite is the Chocolate Passionfruit, while Tay Ying prefers the Kaya Toast flavor.

For those who prefer traditional options, Yang Guang Ke Le is offering her fourth year of traditional baked mooncakes. The gift box contains four halal mooncakes in classic flavors: Red bean, white lotus paste, single-yolk lotus paste, and pandan lotus paste. The order can be placed directly by contacting Yang Guang Ke Le on Facebook or Instagram. Only 1,000 boxes are available.
