On Wednesday, the Tarkwa Circuit Court remanded 25-year-old Kwame Ato Asare into prison custody for his alleged involvement in a series of robberies at mining sites in Kadadwen Ashieba, Western Region. Asare, a self-acclaimed small-scale miner, faced 11 counts, including conspiracy to commit robbery and robbery, under sections 23(1) and 149 of the Criminal Offences Act.
