In Warschau, Germany, an increasing number of Germans are moving to Poland, as reported by Kevin Wörner, a 33-year-old entrepreneur who recently moved his company, Channel Craft, to the city. Wörner, who previously lived in Berlin, was drawn to Poland due to his ex-girlfriend and the city's booming business environment. Since the pandemic, 4,941 Germans have followed suit, making Poland a popular destination for those seeking better economic opportunities.

Poland's economy has grown at a steady pace of 3-4% over the past 20 years, making it an attractive location for foreign investment. Jens Althoff, the director of the Warszawa office of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, points out that Poland has invested heavily in infrastructure, modernized its digital landscape, and improved public transportation.

Compared to Germany, Poland offers lower corporate tax rates, with companies paying only 9% on revenues up to €2 million and 19% on any amount exceeding that threshold. Additionally, personal income tax rates are more favorable in Poland, and the process of registering a business is significantly faster and less bureaucratic than in Germany.

Wörner believes that these factors make Poland an attractive destination for businesses and professionals alike. He plans to expand his sales team and attract more customers to his company, which currently has 30 clients. The modernization and digitalization efforts in Poland have created a vibrant ecosystem for startups and established businesses alike, offering opportunities for growth and success.
