Hungary Says It Can Quit Russian Gas Within a Year
Hungary could secure its gas supply entirely from non-Russian sources by October 2027, Economy and Energy Minister István Kapitány said. Budapest is also negotiating with Croatia over using the Adria pipeline at full capacity to replace Russian oil, although no formal decision to end Russian imports has been announced.
