The Mercury's victory came after a strong fourth quarter rally, with Alyssa Thomas sinking two free throws with 4:58 left to extend the team's lead to 82-79.

The Fire, who were without two key players, Carla Leite and Megan DiLeo, were unable to close the gap as the Mercury sealed the win with free throws.
