Army unveils special recruitment for skilled recruits

The Nigerian Army has launched a specialized recruitment drive to enlist skilled individuals for the 92 Regular Recruits Intake, as announced on X. The registration process will be available online from September 16 to October 21, 2026. The Army's focus is on attracting Nigerians with technical expertise required in various military specialties, such as boat operations, marine mechanics, and electrical/mechanical engineering.

Interested applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and between 18 to 35 years of age as of October 21, 2026. The Army emphasized that enrollment is completely free and cautioned against fraudulent recruitment facilitators. Candidates are urged to submit their applications before the October 21 deadline. This initiative is part of the Army's continuous efforts to enhance its ranks with personnel possessing specialized technical skills.
