Army unveils special recruitment for skilled recruits

The Nigerian Army has launched a special recruitment drive aimed at attracting skilled individuals for 92 Regular Recruits Intake, according to an announcement on X. The campaign, which will run from September 16 to October 21, 2026, seeks men and women with technical expertise needed in specific military roles. Interested candidates must be Nigerian citizens by birth, aged between 18 and 35 as of October 21, 2026, and possess expertise in boat operation, marine mechanics, electrical and mechanical engineering, or other technical apprenticeships.

The Army emphasizes that the recruitment process is free and advises applicants against engaging with individuals or organizations promising recruitment assistance. The initiative is part of the Army’s continuous effort to bolster its ranks with personnel possessing specialized technical skills, contributing to enhanced defense capabilities.
