Apogee Enterprises completes Groglass acquisition for $71.8m

Apogee Enterprises, a Minneapolis-based company specializing in architectural building products and high-performance coated materials, has successfully acquired Latvian-based SIA GroGlass, a provider of high-performance glass surface solutions. The $71.8 million acquisition, including contingent earnout consideration, closed following the fulfillment of all necessary conditions.

Groglass, based in Riga, Latvia, focuses on anti-reflective and advanced coatings for various applications, serving customers in the museum, electronics, and architectural design sectors. Apogee CEO Don Nolan stated that the acquisition is a significant step towards the company's strategic goals, as it brings Groglass's unique technology, strong brand, and expertise in premium anti-reflective coatings to Apogee's Performance Surfaces portfolio.
