17-Year-Old Gang-Raped, Stabbed To Death In Delhi, Body Eaten By Dogs; 3 Minors Among 4 Held

In a gruesome incident in Delhi, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by four individuals, including three minors, before being stabbed to death and her body abandoned in a field, as reported by NDTV. The girl's body, which had decomposed significantly, was discovered near Kushak Road in the Swaroop Nagar area on September 13.

Police stated that the gender of the victim could not be determined initially due to the extent of decomposition. It was later revealed that the girl had traveled to the location with the accused in a tempo, where they consumed alcohol before the assault. The victim sustained at least eight stab wounds, and one of her hands was found separate from the body.

Stray dogs had partially consumed parts of the decomposed remains. The discovery of the body prompted an investigation that led to the identification of four suspects, three of whom were minors aged 16 and 17. The adult suspect was identified as Shivam, also known as Sudama or Chuchu. Police recovered two knives, clothing, and the tempo used in the crime, which are currently under forensic examination.

The case has raised concerns due to the alleged sequence of events, and the investigation is ongoing to establish the exact circumstances and the roles of the suspects.
