Thai Airways expands winter schedule with 66 global routes

Thai Airways plans to operate 66 routes globally during its 2026/27 winter schedule, announced on September 17, 2025. The winter timetable will span from October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027. The airline will introduce a new Bangkok-Danang service on December 1, with 14 return flights per week. Bangkok-Vientiane and Bangkok-Yangon services will increase to 21 flights weekly, while Bangkok-Siem Reap will run seven times a week.

In Europe, the airline will offer seven weekly flights to Amsterdam, 10 to Munich, 11 to Zurich, and 14 to Paris. Thai Airways' Bangkok-Xiamen route will resume with four flights per week. The company aims to remain flexible in the face of global uncertainty while maintaining financial stability, reporting a net profit of 1.537 billion baht in the second quarter of 2025.

Thai Airways is also streamlining its fleet, planning to reduce the number of aircraft types to four and retire older aircraft in favor of newer-generation models. Currently, the airline operates nine Airbus A321neo aircraft, with plans to expand the fleet to 15 by the end of 2026 and eventually 32 A321neos. The airline intends to use Boeing 787 aircraft for future long-haul operations and is working on enhancing onboard products and services, including entertainment systems and food and beverage offerings.
