SpaceX manager Kyle Gonzalez has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a Tesla contractor during a night out with co-workers and friends. The incident allegedly took place after Gonzalez became enraged over a woman complimenting the Tesla contractor's karaoke performance. According to court documents, Gonzalez threatened to kill the contractor and then stabbed him in the neck with a pocket knife, leaving a one-inch puncture wound.
The contractor was taken to the hospital for life-saving surgery and is expected to recover. Gonzalez was found hiding in a nearby parking lot, still clutching the bloody knife, and has since apologized multiple times. He has been charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon and posted a $25,000 bond.
