Serene Insurance Sweeps 2025 Industry Awards

Serene Insurance Limited has triumphed at both the 9th Ghana Insurance Awards and the 6th Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) Excellence Awards, securing three major accolades in 2025. The company was crowned Indigenous Insurance Company of the Year 2025 and Promising Insurance Company of the Year 2025 at the former event, held on August 22, 2026. Its Head of Underwriting, Barbara Odoi, also claimed the Professional Underwriter of the Year 2025 award at the latter awards ceremony, held on August 29, 2026.

Mrs. Odoi's recognition was a reflection of her dedication towards professional excellence, effective risk management, efficient claims processing, and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience. This victory further solidifies Serene Insurance's position in the general insurance sector, where it is now known as the "New Face of Insurance".

In addition to Mrs. Odoi's accolades, the Head of Claims, Daniel Otoo, and the Chief Executive Officer, Mercy Naa Koshie Boampong, had previously been honored at the 5th CIIG Excellence Awards. Mrs. Boampong praised the awards as a testament to the company's collective efforts in strengthening the Serene Insurance brand and positioning the company for sustained growth and industry leadership.

Mrs. Odoi expressed that the award reflected teamwork and professionalism within the company, attributing her success to the dedication and analytical insights of her exceptional team.
