Real Madrid keen on Man Utd forward Gabriel, 15

Real Madrid is reportedly interested in signing Manchester United academy player JJ Gabriel, a 15-year-old forward who wants to cancel his registration with United immediately. Several major European clubs, including Barcelona, Paris St-Germain, and Bayern Munich, are also interested in the young forward. Real Madrid aims to recruit Gabriel for their reserve team, Real Madrid Castilla, which plays in the third league of the Spanish system.

Castilla is considered senior football, as opposed to England's youth leagues. Last season, Castilla's players, including Thiago Pitarch, made appearances in international competitions. Gabriel's transfer from United is complicated by registration rules, as his current registration runs until the end of the season. He turns 16 on October 6th, which could make it easier for him to leave United when he turns 16.
