Putrajaya perlu berkompromi, kata Nanta berhubung pelarasan BUDI Diesel

The Malaysian government needs to find a balance between economic management and easing the burden on citizens when reviewing the criteria for BUDI Diesel subsidies, said Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi. Supporting the revised provision allowing BUDI Diesel subsidy recipients to transfer their benefits to any Malaysian receiving benefits from the BUDI95 scheme, Nanta emphasized that economic considerations cannot be viewed in isolation when implementing basic measures that put additional pressure on the populace.

While economic reductions can be painful to observe, Nanta stated, as reported by Dayak Daily after the ceremony for the reconstruction of the customs warehouse storage shed at the Customs Central Office office relocated to Jalan Bako, Muara Tebas. To alleviate their burden, citizens need to make choices and compromises. Nanta highlighted that any improvements could provide financial relief while stressing that the primary goal of government subsidies is to assist the populace.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced on Malaysia Day that BUDI Diesel recipients can transfer their entitlements to any Malaysian currently benefiting from the BUDI95 scheme. Earlier, transfer eligibility was limited to immediate family members. This move comes after the increase in monthly BUDI Diesel quota from 300 to 400 liters announced on August 31, following concerns raised by pickup and SUV owners in Sabah and Sarawak, according to Anwar.
