The Prosecution of Morelos announced on Wednesday that a judge has issued a detention order against Francisco Javier N, also known as El Trompas, for the femicide of Spanish exchange student Claudia Tacoronte. General Prosecutor of the State, Fernando Blumenkron Escobar, confirmed that the suspect is already sought by authorities for the homicide of the Spanish exchange student who was living in Cuernavaca while attending UAEM's Early Childhood Education program.

"The investigative efforts and footage provided by citizens, among other indications, enabled the Specialized Prosecution for the Investigation and Prosecution of Feminicidio to request a detention order from the judicial authority, which was granted and is now being implemented to make Francisco Javier N available to a court," the department stated in a press release.
