Govt debunks Pak claim that IAF MiG-29 crashed during landing due to pilot error

The press information bureau (PIB) fact check unit has refuted a social media assertion that an Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-29 fighter jet crashed during landing due to pilot mistake. The unit clarified that the circulating video was, in fact, a clip from a video game. The unit confirmed that the footage originated from War Thunder, a military combat video game encompassing aircraft, land, and naval vehicles.

The PIB Fact Check urged users to report any dubious content related to the Government of India through its official channels. This claim is part of a recurring tendency of propagandist accounts to circulate unrelated military incidents and video-game footage as evidence of recent events.
