Neagley season finale is 'explosive' in more ways than one — but I still can't wrap my head around how the final epic stunt was filmed

Spoilers for Neagley ahead. The explosive finale of the Neagley spinoff on Prime Video is nothing short of dramatic. The eight-episode series follows two storylines simultaneously: the death of a young man linked to the Echo Canyon Farm cult and the reasons behind Neagley's (Maria Sten) fear of being touched. Neagley and her team try to avenge her friend's death and save innocent followers from the effects of the illegal drug Tranqlara, funded by Swedish billionaire Rawlings, but they are not overly successful.

The group ultimately blows up the Echo Canyon Farm facility after leader Lawrence's death, walking away like in the iconic Reservoir Dogs scene. Maria Sten, who plays Neagley, reveals that the explosion was not as impressive as it appears on screen. In reality, a wind turbine was used, but the music matched the desired vibe. Detective newcomer Hudson Riley, played by Greyston Holt, confirms that the scene was aided by CGI, but it's not the only practical explosion in the finale.

The truck explosion in episode one was a practical one, and Sten hopes for even bigger and better action sequences in Neagley season 2.
