Nakheel awards Dh800 million deal to build 537 Dubai Islands homes

Dubai's Nakheel has awarded Metac General Contracting Co a Dh800 million contract to construct 537 homes at the sold-out Bay Grove Residences on Dubai Islands. The main construction works are expected to be completed in late 2028, with Phase 1 featuring 296 homes across four residential buildings and Phase 3 adding another 241 homes across three buildings.

The project encompasses one to four bedroom units and includes basement construction, infrastructure, and resident amenities such as swimming pools, play courts, and a fitness centre. Dubai Healthcare City is also contributing to the development with a Dh3 billion project in Dubai Creek Gardens. Nakheel's CEO, Khalid Al Malik, highlighted the strong demand for high-quality waterfront homes in Dubai, stating that the award of this contract signifies a significant step in the development of Dubai Islands.
