Meta’s Threads Gets a List of New Features to Attract Podcast Creators

Meta is expanding its social app Threads with a suite of new features aimed at podcast creators. The updates enable creators to share podcast transcripts, video clips, and episode links directly within Threads. Users can now listen to audio previews of episodes before listening to the full content and save episodes for later viewing.

Thread creators will also gain access to analytics, tracking metrics such as episode clicks and saves. These tools follow Meta's earlier experiments with podcast-related features on the platform. By integrating dedicated features for podcast promotion, Meta hopes to provide a more streamlined experience for creators looking to drive traffic to their full episodes and engage with listeners directly through Threads.
