Karol G Scores First Multi-Week No. 1 on Billboard Global Charts With ‘BbY WOW’

Karol G's collaborative effort with Judeline and rusowsky, "BbY WOW," has achieved a historic milestone by securing a second week atop the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, both ending the week at No. 1. This marks Karol G's first reign as a multi-week leader on both global lists. The duo previously topped the charts together, with Shakira leading "TQG" in its debut week back in March 2023.

"BbY WOW" not only claimed the top spot for both Judeline and rusowsky but also set a new record as the first No. 1 for both artists on the surveys. Coinciding with this success is Karol G's continued dominance in the streaming world, boasting 52.9 million streams (up 25% week over week) and 1,000 sold (up 24%) globally for the week of September 4-10, according to Luminate data.

Outside the U.S., the song accumulated an impressive 40 million streams (up 30%) during the same period. "BbY WOW" also ascended to the No. 2 position on the U.S.-based Billboard Hot 100, following Karol G's previous charting success with "TQG," which reached No. 7. Additionally, the song claimed the top spot on the multimetric Hot Latin Songs chart for its fourth consecutive week.

This achievement stems from Karol G's latest album, "No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto," which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart in August. The Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts rank songs based on a weighted formula that incorporates streaming and sales data from over 200 territories worldwide, as analyzed by Luminate.
