Dubai will host a significant boxing weekend at The Meydan Hotel on September 18 and 19, featuring four Emirati professional fighters. The card, organized by BATL Promotions, includes Saif Alhaj, Ammar Tayel, Abdullah Marjan, and Amer Asuwaider, marking the largest representation of Emirati boxers on a single card. This highlights the sport's growth in the country.
Former WBA World Super-Featherweight champion Jazza Dickens will return to the ring against Ramadhani Kimwaga, seeking to recover from his recent loss to Anthony Cacace. The event will stream LIVE, showcasing both local talent and international stars. BATL Promotions founder Jamie Cormack emphasized the organization's commitment to building a pathway for Emirati fighters, from amateur to championship level, with this weekend's event serving as a clear example of that vision coming to fruition.
