Jalen Brunson Officially Set for ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Season 28 Guest Role

New York Knicks’ star Jalen Brunson will make a guest appearance on NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU,” reprising his friendship with co-star Mariska Hargitay. The Knicks MVP will take part in the fifth episode of the season, scheduled to air on November 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The specifics of his role remain undisclosed. Brunson previously made a cameo during the opening of the Emmys, which were hosted by Hargitay, highlighting their camaraderie.

Apart from “SVU,” he will also host the “Saturday Night Live” Season 52 premiere on September 26, alongside musical guest Katseye.

This addition to his busy schedule comes alongside Brunson and the Knicks appearing on NBC and Peacock as they begin their season on October 20 at 7 p.m. ET. The occasion will see them face off against LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden.

Hargitay, who executive produces “SVU” alongside Dick Wolf, Michelle Fazekas, Kenneth Brown, Rebecca McGill, Anastasia Puglisi, and Peter Jankowski, will again be seen alongside Brunson, Ice T, Peter Scanavino, Kelli Giddish, Kevin Kane, Aimé Donna Kelly, and Corey Cott in the fifth episode. “Law & Order: SVU” kicks off its 28th season on Thursday, October 8 at 9 p.m., followed by the “Law & Order” Season 26 premiere at 10 p.m.
