Inter meet the Club's inclusive football teams

Inter has once again demonstrated its dedication to fostering inclusivity in football and raising awareness about the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities. Representatives from the Club's Special teams recently made a visit to the Inter Training Center in Appiano Gentile, where they met with various stakeholders and officially presented their new training and match kits for the upcoming season.

Three inclusive football teams were welcomed to the Nerazzurri's training facility: one for individuals with cognitive and relational disabilities, which partners with ASD Sporting4E and competes in the FIGC Paralympic Football Division. Another team competes in blind football, developed in collaboration with Real Eyes Sport. Lastly, Inter partners with Snakes Milano to support their powerchair football team.

The visit was particularly significant, as it brought together President and CEO Giuseppe Marotta, Vice President Javier Zanetti, Chief Sport Officer Dario Baccin, Club Manager Riccardo Ferri, and the Inter players. The delegation also had the opportunity to officially introduce the Special teams with their new kits, marking the beginning of their season-long involvement in various activities.

Throughout the season, the Special teams will continue to represent Inter in their iconic Nerazzurri colors, participating in matches and competitions. Additionally, they will engage in gatherings and a series of special initiatives, including collaborative events with players from the Youth Sector and Inter Legends. This commitment showcases Inter's ongoing effort to promote the role of sport in inclusion, protect the rights and wellbeing of people with disabilities, and raise awareness about their needs.
