Jorge Montanez breaks down the last week in saves from around the league with updated closer rankings.
Pete Fairbanks, the pitcher for the Marlins, has once again been sidelined by his team. According to the latest update from the baseball wire, the closer is currently back on the injured list due to nerve irritation. This comes just days after he made a quick return to the pitchers' mound after a brief absence. The Marlins will now have to rely on their other closers to fill the void left by Fairbanks' injury.
