Edie Falco to Star in Fox Legal Drama ‘Katie Greaves’

Edie Falco, known for her roles in "Nurse Jackie" and "The Sopranos", is set to lead a new legal drama series on Fox entitled "Katie Greaves". The show, currently known as "Katie Greaves" on a working title, is a character-driven legal drama that Fox has ordered to series. Falco will play the lead role of Katie Greaves, a smart and committed attorney who left her position at the New Hampshire Public Defender's office due to a personal tragedy.

Now raising her two granddaughters with her husband, Katie is drawn back into the legal world she once defined. Each case she takes on tests her instincts, intellect, and her belief in second chances and fighting for others, as well as herself.

The series is set to be produced by Fox Entertainment Studios, with Sharr White, who has produced acclaimed shows like "Presumed Innocent" and "The Affair", serving as executive producer and showrunner. Ridley Scott, via his Scott Free Productions, also contributes to the project.

Fox Network President Michael Thorn expressed excitement about the project, praising Falco's ability to bring depth, wit, and vulnerability to the role of Katie Greaves. The series aims to deliver an elevated, visceral character drama, thanks to the creative team including Scott, David Zucker, and the entire Scott Free Productions team.

Falco, a four-time Emmy and Golden Globe winner, is a renowned actress, best known for her roles in "The Sopranos" and "Nurse Jackie". Her extensive filmography also includes roles in "Mayor of Kingstown", "Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Brothers", and "Impeachment: American Crime Story".
