Vizzina suffered the injury during Clemson's 22-7 victory over Georgia Southern Eagles on Saturday night, completing 4 of 7 passes for 19 yards, including a touchdown and an interception before leaving after three series.

Reynolds, however, completed 16 of 27 passes for 178 yards, added 38 rushing yards, and led the Tigers on five scoring drives during that game. This quarterback change comes as Clemson seeks to boost production from an offense averaging 16 points in their first two games. The Tigers enter their ACC opener with a 1-1 record after losing 51-10 at LSU and then defeating Georgia Southern.
