Camp Snap 110D takes me back to the 80s and 90s with this digital 110 compact camera

Camp Snap, known for crafting simple, retro-designed and screenless compact cameras, has recently unveiled a digital version of the iconic 110 camera. Facing few competitors in this niche, Camp Snap has crafted a retro-themed digital camera that emulates the look of cheap 110 cameras from the 70s, 80s, and 90s produced by brands such as Hanimex and Kodak. The Camp Snap 110D is available in black/silver and white/orange colors.

Featuring an 8MP sensor, a 26mm equivalent f/2.0 lens, a MicroSD card slot (accompanied by a 4GB memory card), a dual-tone LED flash, and user-friendly controls, this camera also boasts an optical viewfinder and a back LCD screen to display the number of shots taken and the selected filter mode. There are five built-in filters (Standard, Vintage 1, Vintage 2, Analog, and Black and White), all of which can be chosen directly on the camera, eliminating the need for an external app.

Designed to provide a satisfying click when the shutter release button is pressed, the camera includes a lockable memory and settings door. Measuring 143.2 x 50 x 24.5mm, the Camp Snap 110D is set to be pre-order available beginning today, priced at $74.95 (US) on the campsnap.com website. Optional 30.5mm filter holders are also available.

The rechargeable battery is built-in and should provide around 500 shots per charge. Camp Snap's return to classic designs echoes the nostalgia of 110 film cameras from the 1970s and 80s, which were often criticized but have now seen a revival.
